# Artifact licence notice — Earthflux ACF Place Series

This notice covers the Earthflux-authored material in the stored ACF Place Series:
the result documents and their 36 binary series under `place/revisions/2026-08.6/`
and the retained `place/revisions/2026-08.5/`, and the basin locator image.
The preview files under `preview/` are a separate class and stay under review.
The maintainer recorded licensing authority for the ACF dataset class on 2026-11-03.

- **Licence:** Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0),
  <https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/>.
- **Attribution:** Earthflux. Cite the revision `2026-08.6` and
  `climate-indices` 3.2.0, or the retained revision `2026-08.5` and
  `climate-indices` 3.1.0.
- **Modifications:** Earthflux selected nClimGrid cells and months, computed PET,
  reduced the inputs to basin means, and derived the indices. These are modified
  outputs, not the original provider grids.
- **Inputs:** NOAA nClimGrid-Monthly, gridMET (CC0 1.0) and the USGS Watershed Boundary Dataset.
  Their terms stay unchanged. The credits, citations and terms are at `place/attribution/`
  and in the result document's `attribution` field.
- **No warranty:** the material is provided without a warranty of any kind.

CC BY 4.0 grants no right to the input datasets, to third-party material, or to
the Earthflux marks. Other dataset and report classes stay under review.
